On-line resource to help with chemical decisions

Available on the Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (AAFRD) Web site, pesticide calculators can help farmers make the right pesticide decisions. There is one for insecticides, one for fungicides and one for herbicides, which has recently undergone an updating. These selectors will help you select registered chemicals to control pest problems in your crops.
Select your crop, leaf stage and weeds in the herbicide selector and it will display which products and tank mixes you can use for your cropping situation. It also contains reference links for more information.
The insecticide and fungicide selectors work much the same way. After inputting your crop and either the insect or disease you are targeting, the program will list the registered products, cost and if there are any restrictions and mixes associated with the products.
